The trio Triskèle was founded in 2016 by three renowned musicians of Russian origin, Sofia de Salis (flute), Natalia Demina (violin) and Olga Andryushchenko (piano).
These musicians know each other from their studies at the Moscow Central Music School for gifted children, a unique institution in the world that develops and trains young talents from primary classes. The school is attached to the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, where most students continue their studies. Renowned music teachers provide education and encourage young musicians who are thus given every chance to develop.
The members of the trio Triskèle appear internationally as soloists and in small ensembles or orchestras.
The repertoire of the trio consists of classical and contemporary works, with a focus on lesser-known pieces and original discoveries.
As its latest project, the trio looked at the compositions of Astor Piazzolla, the famous Argentinian composer, to propose new arrangements and interpretations of his works. Thus was born “Piazzolla Reloaded”, an hour and a half program of extraordinary musical quality which gives new impetus to the Nuevo Tango created by Piazzolla, amongst others thanks to an unexpected instrumentation.
This program will be played this year in Germany, Russia and Switzerland.
